It’s often highlighted that yoga has an added spiritual context, and is more than just a mere exercise regimen. Doing yoga exercises, which includes meditation and other relaxation methods, can indeed significantly relieve stress, as well as bring a peaceful and soothing sensation to the person. Our ego encourages us onwards, although initially to start with that’s OK then our ego pushes us further. And if we do not control our ego we can end up with more pain because we are working too hard! By keeping in ‘the flow with the divine’ we will accomplish more on a deeper level.
