Khloe Kardashian trends on Twitter and gets targeted by social media trolls

Khloé Kardashian was the target of social media trolls on Wednesday after it was revealed that she’s expecting a secret child via surrogate with her love rat ex Tristan Thompson.

The 38-year-old reality star’s rep confirmed the news in a statement to DailyMail.com earlier in the day, which claimed that the baby was conceived in November and said it would be born via surrogate.

One Twitter troll summed up the mood online by joking that Jordyn Woods — Kylie Jenner’s former bff who was excommunicated from the Kardashian–Jenner clan after Tristan kissed her — was enjoying ‘reading this tea.’

‘Jordyn Woods is for sure giggling somewhere reading this tea,’ they wrote while posing a photo of Jordyn dressed up for a tea ceremony. ‘Khloe we all knew she was never the issue, but she stays vindicated.’ 

Jordyn and her severed connection to the Kardashians was a popular topic among posters. ‘Khloe Kardashian said Jordyn Woods ruined her family like Tristan didn’t embarrass her every 3 months,’ another fan agreed.

Other social media trolls were astonished that the Revenge Body star would even consider having a second child with Tristan, 31, after his repeated infidelities, which left some users wondering where her ‘brain’ was, though several users also expressed sympathy for Khloé.

One Twitter user included a brief clip of a shocked NeNe Leakes, which they simply captioned, ‘Me asking Khloe where’s her brain.’

Others were more brutal, with some commenters even seeming to take pleasure in the news, though not because they were happy for Khloé. 

Another Twitter account narrated the desire not to poke fun at the reality star that they felt from others.

‘*dont make fun of Khloe that could be you*,’ they wrote, before changing course. ‘I PROMISE YOU I WILL NEVER BE THAT MUCH OF AN IDIOT. HAHAHAAHAHAHHA.’ 

So many fans and followers of Khloé felt the need to comment on her new baby news that her first name became a trending topic on Twitter with Tristan’s name. 

Some even launched baseless conspiracy theories that Khloé and Tristan were just covering up after another affair.

‘Is the lady really a surrogate or another one night stand they’re calling a surrogate to protect Tristan?’ speculated on user. 

‘Khloe ain’t having no baby with that man via surrogate,’ echoed another person baselessly. ‘He done cheated for the 67th time and got the girl pregnant. She tired of being ultra embarrassed so she’s settling for less embarrassing.’ 

But other users made sure to put the blame for awkward timing on Tristan, as it was his child outside of his relationship with Khloé that complicated matters.

‘Tbh I’m side eyeing Tristan at this point. The man knew about his baby with Marilee was coming in December, gave depositions to lawyers in secret, and still went thru with this surrogacy with Khloe,’ one person tweeted. 

Others turned their keyboards toward Kris Jenner as they joked that she put out news of the upcoming child to help out their reality series.

‘I just KNOW Kris Jenner leaked the news about Khloé and Tristan for TMZ today. Season 2 and 3 of The Kardashians are secured!’

Some armchair detectives tried to make sense of the timing of the announcement and came to believe that Tristan had cheated on both Khloé and Maralee Nichols. 

‘If this timeline is right it means the surrogate was pregnant before Khloe found out Tristan had fathered another baby last December,’ Sylvia Obell speculated. ‘This means he cheated on her while both of their babies were in the womb! He did it twice! I never imagined their story could get worse but ALAS!’ 

‘Sounds like their surrogate may have been preg already b4 khloe found out about him cheating,’ added another person. ‘Therefore, he lied to her face while using a surrogate at the same time he knew the other girl was preg & trying to sue him. Same time they were doing good & he was moving in. Poor khloe.’ 

One person went so far as to described Tristan as ‘evil’ and claim that he ‘hates’ Khloé due to what he had potentially done. 

‘i think theres a case to be made Tristian Thompson is evil????,’ they wrote. ‘like he went ahead with the surrogate pregnancy FULLY aware of the fact he was about to have a love child on the side???? Theres levels to that kind of insanity. @khloekardashian that man HATES you.’

But plenty of others reserved their ire for Khloé. 

‘Khloe kardashian is a prime example that alllllll the money, glamour and fame in the world can’t buy some of the most priceless things like self-esteem,’ one person said. 

Others mocked the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star for allegedly not introducing her daughter True Thompson to the half-siblings that she already had.

‘Khloe’s just gonna pretend like True doesn’t have siblings already huh lol,’ they said. 

‘I can’t believe Khloe wants to pay a woman to carry Tristan’s shenanigans for 9 months,’ wrote Dami Olonisakin. 

‘Khloe Kardashian has the backbone of an invertebrate,’ wrote a user. 

One critic diagnosed the issue as ‘self-esteem issues’ on Khloé’s part. 

‘Khloe Kardashian suffers from self esteem issues and it’s deep rooted. Not her having another baby via surrogate with community d*** Tristan Thompson. What message is she sending to True? Girl love yourself!’ 

Several others honed in on Khloé’s alleged self-esteem issues, while others blamed her siblings and mother for not talking her out of tying herself to Tristan.

‘Khloe Kardashian is a lost cause. There’s no saving her. I’ve never seen a more foolish person. Tueh,’ tweeted a critic. 

‘Khloe Kardashian has 74 siblings and not one of them told her to leave this man?’ wrote one fan.

One fan suggested Khloé should just marry Tristan in one barbed tweet. 

‘Khloe Kardashian might as well marry Tristan Thompson and have an open marriage because she obviously doesn’t care that he’s a cheater. Like girl… . Stand up.’ 

The Good American founder and the NBA player, who have had a rocky on/off romance since 2016, are already parents to four-year-old daughter True Thompson. 

‘We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November,’ the statement began.

‘Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.’ 

Despite recent rumblings that Khloe and Tristan have reconciled, a source close to the family states that the pair are ‘not back together’ and ‘haven’t spoken to one another since December outside of co-parenting matters.’

The insider also noted that Khloe and Tristan’s baby was conceived via surrogate before DailyMail.com revealed that he was expecting a child with fitness model Maralee Nichols in December 2021. 

TMZ reported that the birth of Khloe and Tristan’s baby is ‘imminent’ and could be just a matter of days, while another insider suggested to the that the child had already been born.

Just seven months ago, Tristan was in the midst of a paternity scandal after DailyMail.com reported Nichols was pregnant with their child.

They’d conceived the child in March 2021 while Tristian was still in a relationship with baby mama Khloe.

Nichols gave birth to their son, named Theo Thompson, on December 1, though Tristan publicly denied the child was his.

It was not until January 2022 that the Chicago Bulls star admitted to being Theo’s father. He also took the opportunity to publicly apologize to Khloe for his repeated philandering.

‘You don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years,’ Tristan wrote.

Despite acknowledging Theo is in fact his son, the basketball star has yet to meet the newborn. 

Tristan also shares five-year-old son Prince with model ex Jordan Craig, who was pregnant at the time he began dating Khloe in 2016.

Tristan and Khloe have had a tumultuous relationship over the years, with the athlete having stepped out on on the reality star multiple times.

In 2018, Dailymail.com revealed Tristan had cheated on the then-pregnant Khloe with a strip club worker from New York City named Lani Blair. They welcomed daughter True on April 14, 2018.

At the time, other outlets reported additional women; however despite the cheating scandal, Khloe remained with Tristan until she when she split with the athlete in February 2019.

In February 2019, Tristan kissed Jordyn Woods after a house party, which was his second cheating scandal.

It is interesting to note that Jordyn was primarily blamed by the Kardashian family publicly on social media and on KUWTK, with Tristan and his behavior seemingly overlooked. She was 21 at the time while Tristan was 27 and Khloe was 34.

Despite the turmoil, Tristan and Khloe rekindled their romance during the COVID-19 pandemic as they went into lockdown together in March 2020 with their daughter.

It was reported in June 2021 that Khloe and Tristan broken up for the second time.

That same month, DailyMail.com exclusively revealed how Tristan disappeared into a bedroom with three women at a house party in Bel Air over the weekend. Lawyers for Thompson denied the claims.

It was revealed this past January that Tristan had declared his love for Khloe on Instagram in March 2021 just hours before meeting up with Nichols.

Nichols previously claimed their son had been conceived while celebrating the NBA pro’s birthday in Houston that month. 

Khloe previously revealed that she felt ‘numb’ after her older sister Kim broke the gut-wrenching news to her about Tristan’s secret child.

‘That was hard,’ she told USA Today. ‘I think the first time [Tristan cheated] it was either Kendall or Kylie that called me. Now it’s good old Kim.’

Khloe said she’s now ‘become numb’ to the pain, but that it doesn’t ‘make things any easier’ on her.

‘When you’re hurt so many times — your reactions, your responses to the same thing happening over and over again — there is a numbing sensation to it,’ the mother-of-one confessed.
